Pre-World Ironman Champs - Kona, Hawaii
19th October 2006 Well I have arrived in Kona, Hawaii after being based in San Diego California for the last 6 months. As many of you know I have had a rough season with a few accidents during or just before some of my biggest races of the year.
 So I have come to the World Ironman Champs in the best shape that I have ever been in on the Island of Kona. With all the bad luck behind me I'm hoping for my best result at the World Ironman Championships.
I'm staying here in Kona with a friend of mine Todd Crandell who run's a foundation called Racing for Recovery to help people fight Drug Addiction. This is his first Hawaii Ironman but he is really laid back about the whole affair.
