Byron Bay Triathlon - 8th May 2004
 Ironman Japan is fast approaching with only a couple of weeks to go until the big event. Japan is sure to be super hot so in anticipation of this, I have escaped the oncoming winter in Taupo and taken the training to Australia.
This weekend saw a test run of my fitness in the 9th North Beach Byron Bay Triathlon. After a calf injury in the New Zealand Ironman this was a good opportunity to gauge my fitness for the upcoming Ironman. And good news - I am feeling strong and ready.
